Inside My Studio: New - Single Open Strand Handmade Polymer Clay Beaded Multifunctional Rope Necklaces

Hi guys! Been a while. If you think I have been maxing and relaxing....nope! Aside from spending two months redecorating our kitchen table into a galaxy look, brush stroke by brush strong, holo glitter, colour shifting powders, shifting pigments, one gallon of polyurethane...and as of today,  finally finished. Well, first I need another can of polyurethane because I keep adding more details. Here is the process so far, click here.

But finally, I am done enough that I can focus on listing my newest jewellery pieces and work on more polymer clay pieces! Yay!. These new pieces are some great single strand polymer clay faux turquoise open rope strands. They have a beaded tassel on one end and a focal bead on the other. And just see all that you can do with one strand! So cool and versatile.

More Details Coming Soon On Video
Soon a video showing the process and  whole pile of extra detail pics about the beaded strands,  coming soon. I can only post so many photos on my Etsy shop. For now, I just wanted to finally connect with internet land, and share where life is at here at A Bergie Creation!

A Closer Look at: So Fine. Green Turquoise . Faux Fantasy Turquoise Polymer Clay and Copper Earrings

Hello! I just wanted to share a closer look at my newest listing in my Etsy Shop, A Bergie Creation. "So Fine," is a pair of handmade polymer clay faux fantasy turquoise earrings. I call them fantasy because the faux turquoise is a variation that I made up and is not replicating true turquoise. My version has variations of blue green to green turquoise hues, along with some copper colour leafing foil. If you would like to see more photos of these light and easy to wear earrings, just scroll down below. To see the actual listing, just click the name of the earrings, "So Fine."

If you'd like to learn more about the process, please visit my creativity blog/vido tutorial on making the faux turquoise here.

Hope you like them. I am working furiously on a variety of polymer clay jewellery components. Now I just need to turn them into wearable art pieces!

Feel free to join the ABC Facebook page if you'd like.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a great day!

Pebeo Fantasy Paints...A Closer Look at "BLUE FIZZ"

Today's newest Pebeo Fantasy Paint Pendant called "Blue Fizz". Here's a closer look. The main colour is pale blues and some turquoise, along with some green and hints of a metallic golden hue. Pebeo paints are so fun to play with. If you are thinking of
using them, I discovered that leaving the lids off all of my colours so I could focus on a lot of different pieces, causes them to eventually get a bit thickened. It is super important to shake not stir the paints prior to use and even while using. There is Mica powder inside and it settles. In order to accomplish the really great chemical reaction
in the "Moon Fantasy" paint especially, requires it to be well mixed. I used toothpicks, and disposable pipettes to mix and drop the paint to the surface I wanted.

Another additional option is the Pebeo Vittrail Glass Paint. Drop that down first and then just release a drop or more of Moon or Prism paint and some will kind of bubble up. So very cool. I will post some links to other tutorials so you can see.

To enhance the beauty and magnify the mini abstract pieces I made, I used epoxy resin to dome the final piece. So beautiful.

Now, A Closer Look...
