A Closer Look: New Heartfully Collection! Petri Dish Technique

Yay, finally some new Pieces and I have been hooked on hearts and the petri dish technique just listed in my shop! So, I decided to call all new Heart pieces, Heartfully Collection. Firstly because my creativity blog is called HeArtfully Creating. And since these pretty pendants are hearts, made sense to name them that! More heart jewellery will be added as I complete them!

And If you follow my blogs or youtube channel, you will know how much I have been enjoying this new alcohol ink and resin technique. The thing is, time flies as I focus on art making and don't get to turn the pieces into jewellery. So that's why I say finally!!

Finally Friday Feature! Autumnal Feel

Happy Friday everyone. We have had some crazy not autumn like weather in our country. Snow in September and early October is even too early for this northerner. Lately, my main focus has been working on bead making using polymer clay, with the hope that I will be able to create somme new handmade jewellery for my Shop A Bergie Creation. The problem is, I get addicted to the bead and cabochon making and neglect turning the pieces into wearable art!

New! Finally Friday's Feature!! _ Life and Agate

Welcome guys! It is almost the end of Friday, but still not too late For Finally Friday's Feature. It has been a great week. Orders have been coming in for the ever popular "MINI Collection." Always excited to receive orders from overseas! This week, I got to send a pair to the United Kingdom!

As well this week, I have joined some wonderful polymer clay Facebook community pages, one of them was Christi Friesen's Creative neighbourhood. She is one of my most favourite polymer clay artists to watch. She is the rock star of the polymer clay world. What meant so much is that she is very personable and actually responds to my messages. Unlike other famous folks who are just too busy or something else, to respond to their fans - she is down to earth, wise and funny! It was special enough just getting to connect with her (she has shared some great advice that I know will help me as an artist.), turns out you can win things on her page sometimes. So, I saw a list and commented about how cool that was. Then after submitting my comment, I went back to read other people's comments and lo and behold, I saw my name on the winners list! Woohoo! Never win anything and now I get to wait for mail to come all the way to Canada from Christi Friesen. I think it may be something that she made, or at least touched :o) Can't wait.

As well, I have inspired by an online, UK, new sensation. Her channel is called The Unruly Housewife. Been enjoying her polymer clay tutorials and most of all her personality. I love a great sense of humour! She also shares some vlogs as well. Fun to watch.

Jewellery making wise, it's been a fun couple of weeks experimenting and working on new jewellery making ideas. Soon, something brand new will be listed in my shop. SATURDAY SNEAK PEEK: Turquoise. Blues. And Greens. Polymer Clay, Gemstone, and Glass Multi strand Necklace

My computer has been misbehaving so I haven't been able to post items lately. But by the Grace of God it is working at this moment :o) So here is a sneek peek at a new multi strand necklace that I am about to list in my shop. It is gorgeous peacock palette. Turquoises, blues, and greens with golden shimmer and hues. As well, it was designed using primarily all handmade polymer clay beads, by me of course :o) And to accent it, I created handmade golden with glitter bead cones (about 50mm long by about 20mm across) on the ends, where the strands are connected in a cluster. As well, turquoise bead nuggets about 3mm-4mm were interspersed along with small glass seed and cube beads that range from 2mm-3mm in size. I love this piece. A few small (about 4mm up to 8mm in length) polymer leaf beads were added for more interest as well. A glossy glaze was applied to the surface.
Depending on the lighting, the beads have a shimmer in some areas and other areas are matt with the glossy glaze.

All five strands were suspended on gold tone small and large oval link chain and a beautiful toggle clasp. It can be resized if the customer asks.

PINK PALETTE PIECES AND YAY! CANADA POST IS A GO....No mail interruptions

Behind the Scenes....
I have been spending our brief North Western Ontario. Canada summer by working on polymer clay pieces that are gifts for the www.heartfullycreating.blogspot.com

ones I love. Howard the Turtle, is a favourite character of my husband's. So a polymer clay turtle names, Howard, has been something that I have been working on for about a month now. It has been helping me learn more about sculpting and forming three dimensional figures. Because I don't sell these pieces in my shop, you can see them at my creativity blog,
Today, I hope to post a new article there showing his finishing touches. Next project, some new polymer clay jewelry pieces for my shop. Canada Post was being threatened with a strike or lock out so I had been holding off waiting to see if shipping would be impacted. Thankfully, all is a go and they will not be stopping the flow of mail! YAY! Now I can focus on my shop without worrying about that topic. An vital one when you have an online shop!! :o)
